Campaign optics & aesthetics for a victorious municipal village government election

Our team worked with Victoria ‘Vicki’ Scaman on her historic campaign to move from Oak Park Village Clerk to Oak Park Village President.

Capability #1: Web Design

Using Elementor, we were able to craft the #votevicki website from scratch. From initial wireframing to implementation and maintenance our team was there every step of the way to ensure that the digital brand of the candidate matched the in-person brand.

Capability #2: Brand Development

Campaigns need a lot of branded materials. From Yard Signs to pens and buttons and so many things in between. It was paramount that all these items had the same look, feel, and quality to them. Consistency is key to amplifying your message. Our team, in conjunction with our preferred product vendors, sourced and created branded products for our candidate. Handling not only the design process but the bidding, and distribution processes.

Capability #3: Video Editing

This short video was viewed by over 5,000 people, no big deal. This simple video was shot using an iPhone 12Pro and a tripod. Then our fabulous video production team edited and added subtitles so that it was inclusive. We released this video 4 days before the election and we believe it sealed the deal.

Capability #4: Social Media

Social Media is our most used service, for good reason. Not to toot our own horn, but we did a bang-up job. Our team created or sourced the majority of the content placed on Social Media for the candidate’s Instagram and Facebook Pages. Amongst all the candidates for all local races, ours consistently ranked #1 in terms of page reach and engagement.

Capability #5: Advertising Design

We also handled 90% of the printed material design for the campaign, including this full-page endorsement ad which ran in the Wednesday Journal. We also created the campaign’s Lit Drop materials, thank you cards, and rack cards.

We even used our styling roots to help her determine the best outfits to wear.

The Result?

Vicki was victorious!
